Porto Cruz Tawny 40 Year Old
Clear mid-brown colour which was a shade lighter than the 30 Year
Old. The nose was rich with a slightly medicinal character. The full
body and long finish were outstanding. The flavour was very complex
containing a touch of fruity sweetness, a good chew of woody oak, and
a pleasant contribution from aldehyde elements.
